This Collection was inspired by the Hawaiian Mermaid, Kananaka. Kananaka is the beautiful mermaid known to appear on the beaches of Lahaina, Maui. Kananaka would appear surfing the waves into the many streams that flow down through Lahaina, and play in the sand dunes in that area.
